In 2019, Monocle released a bespoke book on urban planning- The Monocle Guide to Building Better Cities. It offered many insights on creating modern, welcoming, and chic city. The book required illustrations that would highlight key points of Monocle's Manifesto to building better cities and a full page illustration for an endnote of a book. Both the book and illustrations celebrate the experience of living in a city, with all its challenges and pleasures.
